Who We Are
As Panhellenic women, we are all bound together by similar value systems and we strive to live those values every day.
Leadership within the Panhellenic community is very important and encouraged through various available positions and activities. There are seven executive board positions and nine chair positions that sisters of each chapter are encouraged to apply for. The women in these roles help guide the Panhellenic community, expand our network through recruitment, and strengthen our sisterhood through events. From your time as a new member to graduation, we focus on membership and personal development where you will often see yourself grow as a sister, student, and leader.
The Panhellenic bonds at Northeastern are very strong; we promote sisterhood through various events and supporting the women of every chapter. Sisters attend philanthropy and fundraising events held by other chapters to bond and show their support of the efforts of the Greek community. Also, each month chapters are paired together as "Panhel Pals" for the month and have an event together so sisters can get to know one another.
As Panhellenic women, we are passionate about service and giving back to our community. Boston is a wonderful city, and we take advantage of every opportunity to support those around us.
These are some community service events that our members have participated in:
Bruins & Celtics 50/50 Raffle
Mission Hill Breakfast Club
Relay for Life
Boston Athletic Association
We are dedicated to our educational endeavors at Northeastern, because your academics are what led you to Northeastern and our community. From classes, to co-op, to study abroad, our members are always excelling scholastically.
The Panhellenic Council supports scholarship through a variety of ways. There is a honor society for the FSL community called Order of Omega that rewards students in the community for high scholastic achievement, as well as leadership within the community. Annually, we celebrate the achievements of our community in February, the Month of the Scholar. We also promote educational events put on by various student groups, and hold study hours for the community.
